US Athletic teams at Waterford participate in Utah High School Activities Association in the 2A Classification as a member of Region 17. Competition teams include Men's & Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Lacrosse, Volleyball, Cross Country and Golf. Waterford also offers varsity competition in Racquetball and Crew through the state associations for these sports. Waterford has won its share of titles, trophies and respect. Waterford was named the top 1A Athletic School by both the Deseret News and the Salt Lake Tribune ('04, '05) Individual athletes have been honored on All American and All State teams including All State Academic rosters.
